To achieve this, the law gives people and businesses property rights to the information and intellectual goods they create, usually for a limited period of time. The purpose of this workshop is to provide clarity about the types of intellectual property, how to use the laws to protect your ideas and inventions and outline resources available to you locally to help with this important area of managing your business assets.
